Billboard Calls Beyonce “The Indisputable Queen of Pop”

While Jay-Z sits on top of the Hip-Hop Cash Kings list with over $60 million earned last year, his wife Beyonce is receiving some big recognition of her own!

According to Billboard, Beyonce is “The Indisputable Queen of Pop!” And she is being recognized for her immense talent, phenomenal achievements and longevity in the game as a worldwide entertainer, actress, fashion designer, philanthropist and more in a newly released tribute video, which is said to be one of many features on Beyonce’s highly anticipated upcoming “I Am…” Tour DVD (due in stores later this year).

    @AFAN I wasn’t COMPARING them, but simply said I missed her. I know just as well as anybody Aaliyah is dead and isn’t coming back. But giving Beyonce, or Aaliyah for the matter the ‘Queen of Pop’ title is a bit much. I agree give it to Janet, or Madonna or something, Bee has a while to go before she deserves ‘a title’.

    There’s not an undisputable Queen of Pop at the moment. It’s disputed between 8 more singers: Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Kylie Minogue and Britney Spears.

    Like The King Of Pop, there’s only one, Michael Jackson, or The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Beyoncé’s just starting and she’s brilliant, but she won’t be ever like Michael, Elvis or Whitney or anyone cited before.

    I don’t understand why we must compare Beyonce to some artists, yes there has been other queens of pop, and many more in the upcoming years, but for now, for this time, no one can touch Beyonce, her work and dedication has made her very successful, where is janet jackson now? And Madona? Yes they were great at their time, and will always be looked up to, but for now Beyonce is doing it big, and of course she looks up to many older artists who paved the way. But at this time Beyonce is the new Queen of pop.
