Chris Brown Makes Court Appearance! // Arraignment Pushed Back Until April 6th!

R&B singer Chris Brown, pictured above with his attorney Mark Geragos, appeared in Los Angeles superior court this afternoon (Mar. 5th 2009). He’s being charged with two felonies for assault and making criminal threats against his girlfriend, singer Rihanna. His solemn look in court today is a far cry from his “happy-go-lucky” attitude this past weekend in Miami. Continue reading for more pics and to see how court went for the troubled singer!
Even though Chris stood before a Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner as originally scheduled, the singer did not enter a plea and his arraignment has been delayed until April 6th. Commissioner Kristi Lousteau received only “Yes” and “Yes, ma’am” answers from Brown to her procedural questions, and at the end of the session, she said:
“Mr. Brown, you are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.”
When asked if Rihanna wanted a protective order against Brown, her lawyer, Donald Etra declined. Rihanna didn’t make an appearance in court, but Etra spoke for her:
“She’s doing great. She is making sure her rights are being protected at every stage of the proceedings … She did not feel a stay-away order was necessary.”

this trial was seriously was a waste of time. wtf are they doing? are they trying to build their case? are they stalling? i really want to hear chris’ side of the story before i make my judgements.
