R Kelly’s Longtime Publicist (of 14 years) Calls it Quits; He “Crossed the Line!”

As if a pending court case regarding 14 counts of child pornography weren’t enough, Mr. Robert Kelly has apparently “crossed the line” with his longtime publicist of 14 years. According to TMZ, Regina Daniels has clipped all ties with the “Double Up” star. Here’s the official statement Ms. Daniels released to the press Saturday:
I have prided myself on loyalty, respect and professionalism. It saddens me that I was not always shown those same courtesies during my 14-year tenure as Mr. Kelly’s publicist … There are some lines that should never be crossed professionally or personally. Mr. Kelly crossed a line that forever altered the scope of our relationship. For this reason I made the decision to resign.
I wonder what lines were crossed! You know how this gossip game is. We’ll find out soon enough. Just give it some time… The latest “rumor” is that he assaulted her. But I don’t fool with rumors like that, so until something official comes out, all we know is that he “crossed the line.”
Despite Kelly’s attempts at pushing his court date back further and further, proceedings for the child pornography case are due to kick off in Spring ‘08. But you know how it is. Something random is going to come up and Kellz and his team of goonz lawyers are going to pay convince the judge to once again … push it back. Pssh, don’t act like you don’t already know how this works!

I wonder what R. Kelly did to make his publicist up and quit on him. I read the statement she made about him on http://www.globalgrind.com, but I haven’t found out any specifics. I wonder what he did to “cross the line.” I like R. Kelly, but I can imagine that he, like most celebrities, can be hard to deal with at times.

i heard he kicked ne-yo off the double up tour, even though ne-yo had good performances. jealous maybe?
