
Yesterday we reported that tennis star Serena Williams had to be rushed to an L.A. hospital to undergo emergency treatment for a pulmonary embolism (bloodclot in the lung).
The condition can be life threatening in severe cases, but Serena’s spokesperson, Nicole Chabot, said, “thankfully everything was caught in time” and that Serena was resting and recovering at her home in Los Angeles.
