Wow, when I saw these photos of a young lady giving Akon “the ride of his life” on stage at a concert in Trinidad, I just thought to myself, “Oh, just another nappy headed ho losing her mind on stage to either a.) win a contest or b.) just say ‘I got picked to be on stage with a celebrity!'” Oh wait, did I just say “nappy headed ho?” Oops =X Thanks a lot Don, now you got that shit in my head! Anyhow, come to find out, ol’ girl is 14 YEARS OLD! Oh, no … that’s not it. Her damn daddy is a PREACHER, and basically condoned what she did, claiming that she was the victim. Yeah, I’m late as hell with this, so what … shoot me. School’s been kickin my arse! Anyhow, America’s favorite Indian-American (yes, I’m being politically correct here) Sanjaya Malakar was finally voted off of that God-awful American Idol show, surprising everyone .. but me! Hell, I knew it was gonna happen sooner or later. Those people at the Indian Call Centers couldn’t skip out on accepting my Windows Vista support queries because they were “too busy voting for Sanjy” for much longer, or I was gonna have to end up a class action! But that’s beside the point. Let’s Fly Together… We So Fly!
This is “supposedly” the second single from Trey Songz new album, Trey Day, set to drop later this summer. The song is called “Fly Together” featuring Dipset’s Jim Jones. Again, I love songs like this, acknowledging women as like Fabolous’ song with Ne-Yo, I’d definitely recommend this as a single. Both guys did their thing on this joint, I find Trey’s voice so bland on anything he sings and of course you got Jim Jones on the track, real mellow dude. Other nominees for this prestigious award included Keyshia Cole, Zuri & Kenisha Fisher, but it was “The First Lady of the Bay” who took home the prize. Jimmie was also nominated as Best Female R&B Performer and gave a breathtaking performance at the event. R&B Artist Joe Embarks on National Tour with Brian McKnight & Sunshine Anderson
