Yesterday, April 18th 2007, The Black Music Association Academy of America honored new songstress Jimmie Reign with a Bay Area Black Music Award for Best Hip Hop Soul Vocalist. Other nominees for this prestigious award included Keyshia Cole, Zuri & Kenisha Fisher, but it was “The First Lady of the Bay” who took home the prize. Jimmie was also nominated as Best Female R&B Performer and gave a breathtaking performance at the event.
