After suffering an early leak of an unfinished music video, Kanye West is proud to present the final and complete version of his new “Paranoid” video, which co-stars pop singing sensation Rihanna and features vocals from Mr. Hudson, who received no face time in this video. We posted photos from behind the scenes of this particular video way back in April and finally, here’s the release of Mr. Smilez‘ “Nite Life” music video featuring R&B singer Lloyd. We researched this Mr. Smilez dude and found out he used to be a part of the Orlando based hip-hop duo known as Smilez & Southstar. The two have temporarily parted ways to pursue solo careers and Mr. Smilez is already on his second single from his debut album, The Sponge. No word on a release date though. But for now, peep his new video below.
We’re not entirely sure how we missed this video’s premiere, but here’s “Sugar,” Flo Rida‘s new music video featuring up and coming singer Wynter Gordon. Check out the Shane Drake directed visual after the break and pick up Flo’s R.O.O.T.S. album, in stores now.
“I directed this video for years ago but I wasn’t satisfied with it, so I never released it. But now looking back at it, I like it,” Kanye West wrote on his personal blog last week after releasing his four-year-old self-directed “Spaceship” music video. We don’t see why he never released the video, other than the fact that Kanye is a HUGE perfectionist and seems to have a problem with being satisfied 100% with his projects. But we’re definitely glad he bit the bullet and released the video anyway … even if it did take four years, haha! Dates and a final line up are still on the verge of being confirmed, but word on the sidewalk is that Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Drake and Soulja Boy are going on tour this summer! If this turns out to be true, this will most likely be the summer season’s biggest hip-hop tour.

Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you “D.O.A. (Death Of Autotune),” a new track from Jay-Z, produced by No ID and Kanye West that was leaked over the weekend. Though this track will most likely be featured on Jay’s upcoming 11th studio album, The Blueprint 3, it is only the street track. The first official single will be “Off That,” which features up and coming rapper Drake. We’re sure you’ve heard of him by now 🙂 Anyway, peep Jay’s new track below!
If you’ve had your doubts about the joint album between T-Pain and Lil Wayne then worry no more. According to Mr. Teddy Penderass himself, they’ve already recorded a dozen tracks for their T-Wayne album, which he says is going to come out “whenever.”
“We got 12 songs right now,” Teddy P told MTV News recently about the T-Wayne sessions. “We going slow; there’s no rush. It can come out whenever. We’re gonna keep it pushing, however. It’s gonna be pushed.”

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne’s upcoming Rebirth album has a new release date: August 18th. And according to Wayne, the rock-inspired LP is finally complete and is ready to hit stores.

News recently broke that Jennifer Hudson is definitely pregnant, confirming a long-held notion that we can rarely depend on publicists to report the truth. If you remember, back in April, her PR denounced the pregnancy rumors saying that there was no truth to them. Boy were they wrong and shame on us for listening to them. So now we have to take what they say with a grain of salt, just like how we take most of the information we receive these days.
But anyway, the pregnancy was confirmed when she held a baby shower at a relative’s home last Saturday (May 30) in Chicago. And the picture above of her, her 7 month baby bump and her fiance David Otunga leaving a KFC recently also adds more truth to the story. The bump doesn’t lie people. While no one knows the gender of the baby just yet, we do know he/she should be here sometime in the late summer (July/August).
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have another baby on the way (due sometime this summer) and have reportedly dropped $1.9 million dollars on a new crib. Not a baby crib though. The two purchased a newly renovated home featuring 5,400 square feet of space with four bedrooms and five bathrooms in the Hollywood Hills. Their nearly $2 million home also features a powder room, large living room, a guest house and a pool, complete with a poolside bar.
But will this big new home purchase bring on the sounds of wedding bells? Probably not in the near future, reports Star Magazine.
Newly married couple Heidi and Spencer quit on the spot on NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” reports TMZ. A highly placed source in the production crew tipped off the website saying that the two followed through with their threat and walked off the set after the live portion of Monday (June 1) night’s episode.
And to add insult to injury, Spencer’s charity The Red Cross now wants nothing to do with the program. They say what Spencer and his wife did left a bad taste in their mouth, though it’s unclear whether they would have received anything anyway since Heidi and Spencer prematurely quit the show instead of being voted off.
A live countdown has been set up on WhitneyHouston.com, generating anticipation and a lot of buzz for R&B singing legend Whitney Houston‘s first album in seven years! The New Jersey-bred artist is set to make her comeback on September 1st 2009, which will be her first studio album since 2002 when she released Just Whitney.
The roster of producers delivering tracks for the untitled project include big names like Will.i.am, Sean “The Pen” Garrett and Akon, who also might have a duet titled “Like I Never Left,” which leaked last year. No word on whether or not the track will make the final cut though.

In an exclusive interview with Rap Radar, Eminem confirmed that he and Sacha Baron Cohen indeed planned the skit where Sacha lands right in Eminem’s lap … face down, @ss up and also shot down rumors of him getting robbed of over $60,000 in merchandise. He made it clear that all that was stolen was a Nike watch, saying that the rest is made-up “like half the other stuff out there.”
