Lindsay Lohan is a free woman after completing a court-mandated three-month rehab stint at the Cliffside treatment center in Malibu, and Celebuzz has the photos of the actress leaving Cliffside with a huge smile on her face and overall looking pretty good.
She’ll reportedly be staying with a sober coach in L.A. for the next few days because, according to TMZ, she “feels like she needs a transition period before re-entering the real world on her own.” Afterward, she plans on moving back to New York City.
Lohan began her court-mandated rehab stint on May 2nd when she checked into the Betty Ford Clinic as a part of a plea deal after she lied to police at the scene of her California car crash in June 2012, which violated her earlier probation. But about halfway through her 90-day rehab stint, she transferred to Cliffside Malibu, which is said to be a facility better suited for longer-term treatment.
On the career front, Lohan’s newest movie “The Canyons” opens in theaters this Friday, and she’s scheduled to guest-host “Chelsea Lately” on Monday, and she’s also scheduled to sit down for her first post-rehab interview with Oprah Winfrey, scheduled to air on OWN on August 18th.
Following her one-on-one interview wih Oprah, Lohan has signed on to do an eight-episode docu-series for OWN that will premiere in 2014 and will follow the actress as she works to build her post-rehab career.
It sounds like Lindsay Lohan has a fresh start, and here’s to hoping she takes advantage of it!
