Tink plays it cool in the video for her new single “Million,” a remake of Aaliyah‘s classic hit “One in a Million.”

In the 90’s-inspired video, which premiered in New York City’s Times Square on the Jumbotron, Tink does a great job at paying homage to the late R&B princess Aaliyah, singing, rapping and dancing throughout the clip, showing off that she’s a triple threat.

The 20-year-old is signed to Mosley Music Group label, an imprint of Epic Records run by producer Timbaland, and her debut studio album is due for release (featuring production from Timbaland, as well as a collaboration with Missy Elliott) sometime in 2015.

Earlier this year, Timbaland made headlines (and raised eyebrows) when he said that Aaliyah came to him in his sleep and said Tink was “the one.”

“I don’t touch any of my sister’s records,” he explained to the crowd at Fader Fort’s SXSW showcase in March when he debuted the single. “I don’t touch Baby Girl’s records. You know that’s Aaliyah… She spoke to me in my sleep and said, ‘She’s the one.'”

We don’t know about all that, but Tink is the truth.
