During an interview with Kevin Frazier on “omg! Insider,” Kelly Rowland opened up more about the abusive boyfriend she addresses on her latest single “Dirty Laundry.” Speaking of things that need to be cleaned of all taint, why is that the name of that show? Excuse me, I’m feeling like a crotchety young man today.
In any event, Ms. Kelly told Kevin that the boyfriend was emotionally abusive. While she won’t reveal his name, she does note that he’s changed as a person.
Kelly explained, “A piece of me would just go away every time he would say something,” she said. “I’ll never forget those things. I’ll forgive him … he’s a different person now but it was things to tear me down as a person, as a woman.”
That means y’all don’t have to track dude down and karate chop him to the ground, Rowland Stones.
She went o to say, “I was just so young and allowed him to do those things to me.”
And yes, Beyoncé came up, with Kelly noting, “I love my sister. [She] is so incredibly supportive. [She is] one of the closest people to me.” Amen.
