NeNe Leakes — the moose of ATL — is still feeling fancy since she landed a starring role on the NBC show “The New Normal.”
While word on the street is that the show is on the chopping block, the Halloween episode that was shelved because of Hurricane Sandy aired recently and found the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star stepping into a new role: Playing a man.
In the episode, NeNe’s character, Rocky, dresses up as Matt Lauer from the Today Show.
Yeah. Unfortunately, NeNe looks more like Al Roker’s long-lost little brother. Good job with that widow’s peak though.
We get that NBC was going for the cross-promo thing here but naw. They need to try again.
The funny thing is that NeNe is already accused of being a female impersonator all the time. As far as her butch rating goes, she doesn’t look any MORE butch dressed in a suit and tie than normal. In fact, she actually looks more feminine and soft here than she does in her typical stilettos and glammed up styling.
If NeNe really wanted to go for that drag king flava, she should’ve dressed up as Rick Ross or something. I’m pretty sure they already wear the same bra size and growing a beard wouldn’t take her very long either.
