First there was the poster and now we have the first trailer for “Hangover 3!” Based on the promo, the film is set in Las Vegas where the first installment took place. It also shows the entire Wolf Pack (Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Justin Bartha) back together again.
Not much else is revealed — although we do get a glimpse of Galifianakis sharing a lollipop with Melissa McCarthy.
There’s also an irresistibly funny action sequence involving a giraffe and a massive highway pile up.
According to the teaser, the film marks the “epic conclusion” of the storyline that began in 2009 with the release of “The Hangover.”
Hopefully, the film will be better than “The Hangover 2,” which was arguably a rip-off of the first one.
Either way, it’ll probably be a massive hit. The initial film grossed a whopping $467 million worldwide while the sequel took in over $581 million.
It’s no wonder Warner Bros. decided to greenlight a third one.
Heather Graham, Ken Jeong, and Jamie Chung all reprise their roles in the film while stars like John Goodman and McCarthy are new to the franchise.
