There are two things you should never threaten to take away from a Walmart shopper:
1) Sam’s Choice Cola: That generic-ass can of soda is like crack for these zombies. It don’t matter if the cola syrup has gone bad or if it rots their teeth. That shit is cheap, bitch, so every Walmart better have plenty of it.
2) Redeemable Coupons: Walmart shoppers are bargain shoppers. They live for a good deal and if they have a coupon, damnit they wanna spend it. It don’t matter if that shit expired 2008, scan it!
Unfortunately, assistant manager Tracy Stockslager in the Crawfordville Walmart in Florida forgot rule number two which resulted in a loyal Walmart customer Mary Frances Alday waving her Smith & Wesson in the air and threatening to shoot them all. The Smoking Gun has all of the details:
After having her coupon bid rejected, Alday allegedly called Stockslager “a bitch and other foul names” and intentionally struck the worker with a shopping cart. As Alday was escorted out of the store, she reportedly warned Stockslager, 48, not to follow her. The Walmart worker replied that “she was going to get her vehicle license plate number.”
“If you follow me, I have something in my car for you,” Alday warned.
As several Walmart employees watched from the store’s entrance, Alday appeared outside her car “waving the gun in the holster,” reported investigators. Alday then removed the weapon–a loaded Smith & Wesson .38 Special–from the holster and pointed it “at all the store employees and stated ‘I have something for Y’all.’” The Walmart workers “retreated back inside the building due to being in fear for their lives.”
Get this: The coupon was only for a dollar off too, reports the Smoking Gun. So this old-ass lady is sitting her wrinkled ass in a county jail over one stinkin’ dollar.
