Another day, another lawsuit against a celebrity … and this time its Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige that’s in the firing line.

The singer’s “Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now” charity — also known as “FFAWN” — is being sued for failing to repay a $250k loan which was allegedly meant to have been paid in full by December 2011.

According to TMZ, Blige’s foundation borrowed the quarter-mil from TD Bank back in June 2011 and has thus far only returned a mere $368.33.

A rep for Blige told the gossip site that the foundation is “presently transitioning its management and headquarters.” The rep added, “We remain committed to our mandate of helping women gain the confidence and skills necessary to reach their full individual potential.”

We can only hope this gets cleared up soon and the charity continues function as it should.
