Rapper/producer Swizz Beatz recently spoke with Angie Martinez and revealed that his talented wife, R&B singer/songwriter Alicia Keys, is currently working on an album that will be “timeless.”
The music producing genius explained of his wife’s next album:
“She’s working on a timeless piece. The topics that she’s speaking about are super deep and from the heart, and to me what music has been missing. It’s the thing that makes us special as an artist. I tell her, ‘Yo, I’m proud of you because you’re making timeless pieces.'”
Ever proud of his wife, Swizz, currently promoting his new single “Street Knock,” which features Hip-Hop newcomer A$AP Rocky continued in his interview, “It’s showtime. She’s moving faster than people think. She’s tightening the bolts.”
Alicia is also reportedly in the studio with her long-time collaborator Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, as well as Pop & Oak. During an appearance late last year on Good Morning America, the mother of one explained of her upcoming project, “You deserve the best and I want to give you the best, so when you hear this music you’re blown away, like you’re filled.”
Alicia’s last project was “The Element of Freedom” back in 2009.
