In her first major performance since having emergency surgery throat surgery, Adele used her powerful voice to belt out the notes to her soulful hit single “Rolling in the Deep” Sunday night (Feb 12) in Los Angeles at the 2012 Grammy Awards.
The British-bred singer wore a simple black dress as she delivered a spot-on rendition of the song that won her a few Grammy Awards, including “Song of the Year.” By the time the show ended, Adele took home a whopping six awards (out of the six categories she was nominated in).
At the end of her performance, Adele received a round of applause and a standing ovation from the Grammy audience.
