Waka Flocka Flame is tired of rappers hyping themselves all the way to the top. (As if he isn’t one of them!)
In a recent interview with DJ Kay Slay, the “Round of Applause” rapper called out Amber Rose’s boo Wiz Khalifa as being a prime example of an over-hyped rapper:
“Yo [Kay] Slay, how you feel about these rap n*ggas with all that hype man. They ain’t got no swag when they really, they hyped their way to the top. [I’m behaving myself lately.] Me too. I ain’t even gonna lie. I ain’t even gonna lie, right. … I feel like they don’t respect nothing but the real. You gotta. Wiz. Wiz.”
It’s not like we’re totally disagreeing with Flocka here. There ARE a handful of rappers who are all hype … but is he the right person to be saying this??? WE THINK NOT!
