Holly Madison is serious about “protecting” her boobies. So serious, in fact, that the reality TV star and Las Vegas showgirl recently took out a $1 million insurance policy on them with Lloyd’s of London.

The 31-year-old told People.com that she did it to project herself and others who perform with her in her Las Vegas burlesque show “Peepshow.”

“I’ve heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?, because if anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars,” she said. “I thought I’d cover my assets.”

Madison, a regular performer at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, performs topless during segments of her show, which makes the insurance policy on her breasts — no matter how funny it is — completely necessary.

“I think it’s kind of funny. I think they’re getting the credit they deserve,” she said. “They’re my primary money makers right now.”

In addition to her Vegas show, Madison, a former Playboy bunny who appeared on “The Girls Next Door” and was once Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend, also stars in her own reality show, “Holly’s World,” which airs on E! and documents her life in Las Vegas.
