Life really does begin at 30! Just ask singer Kelly Rowland.
After leaving former manager Matthew Knowles, recent endorsement deals, landing a spot on the UK version of the X Factor and chart success, the R&B singer — who celebrated her 30th birthday back in February — may have landed herself her very own sitcom on a currently unnamed major U.S. network.
The YBF reports:
A major cable network just offered Kelly Rowland a deal to star in her own sitcom. We’ve learned the deal was just put on paper yesterday, and the deal should be signed, sealed, and delivered within a few weeks.
She’ll begin filming the pilot episode of the yet-to-be named sitcom January 2012.
It’s about time Ms. Kelly shined!

In related news, Kelly suffered a wardrobe malfunction and accidentally exposed her nipples while performing at the 4sixty6 Lounge in New Jersey Sunday night (Aug 7). Following the show she joked on Twitter:
