Contrary to reports stating that they’re set to marry on Halloween, sources now reveal that Kim Kardashian and her NBA player fiance Kris Humphries have chosen August 20th as their wedding date.
According to new reports, the reality TV star and the New Jersey Nets basketball player’s wedding will be held in California in front of friends and family, and of course, a camera crew. (A wedding isn’t officially a Kardashian wedding unless it airs on TV!)
“I’ve fantasized about my wedding since I was a little girl,” Kim says in the new issue of Life & Style.
While reps have no comment on the upcoming nuptials, we also hear that the couple plan on having separate bachelor/bachelorette parties at two separate clubs in Las Vegas later this month.
“I’m having so much fun planning the bachelorette party,” Kim’s younger sister Khloe told PEOPLE at a party in New York City Tuesday. “My bachelorette party was very embarrassing [with] … penis straws [and] everything penis-themed. Kim is very uncomfortable with all that stuff, so I’m going to go all out and embarrass her, because it’s just fun.”
Kim and Kris, a forward for the NJ Nets, got engaged in May after dating for 6 months.
