Everyone knows that Maria Shriver is going through a difficult time right now. Earlier this week, news broke that her cheating ass husband of 25 years, former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, had fathered a child with a member of the family’s household staff over a decade ago.
However, Shriver isn’t using the heart-wrenching scandal as an excuse to retreat from the spotlight. In fact, she was one of the many celebrity guests who attended Oprah Winfrey’s finale on Tuesday evening.
Shriver seemed to issue a subtle comment on her husband’s actions during the show as she commended her friend for decades of tireless work:
“For more than 30 years you have bestowed upon me the most amazing friendship … You have shown love, support, wisdom, and most of all—the truth.”
