Looks like fans haven’t yet forgiven the controversial actions of Hollywood actor Mel Gibson seeing as Mel’s new movie “The Beaver” just experienced quite the painful opening at the box office this past weekend.
The Jodie Foster directed drama that centers around a man suffering from depression barely produced a blip at the box office only bringing in a very meek $104,000!
“The Beaver” being booked into only 22 theaters could have led to the dismal numbers, but let’s be honest, no one was going to go see that train-wreck either way.
