Aretha Franklin took to the stage and performed at the Candie’s Foundation 2011 “Event to Prevent” Benefit Gala Tuesday night (May 3) at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.
Showing off her new slim look in a black gown, the Queen of Soul wowed guests at the gala with her legendary voice in her first performance since announcing her drastic weight loss.
