All you doubters out there can just plain stop doubting! New singing talent show “The Voice” debuted with strong numbers on Tuesday night.

Produced by Mark Burnett, Cee-Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton managed to rake in a staggering 11.8 million viewers when the showed aired for the first time.

The singing competition improved NBC’s season average by nearly 90% and made history as the top-rated series premiere on a major network series since CBS’ “Undercover Boss” debut following the 2010 Super Bowl.

“The Voice” also blew its head to head competition out of the water. Both Dancing with the Stars and a 90 minute episode of Glee were out rated by the show.
