Lady Gaga can now add the title of Godmother to her list of names. Yes that’s right, Mother Monster has been confirmed by the great Sir Elton John as Godmother to his four month old son, Zachary.
In an interview on 20/20, which will air on ABC on Firday, both Elton and his partner David Furnish confirmed that the rumors were in fact true. Elton said: “Yes, yes, she is. When you get to the real person under there, there’s a real simple person under there who loves her parents.”
Furnish added that Zachary is “going to inherit an incredible musical legacy from his father one day, and she will be a good person to guide him through the ins and outs of the music business, ’cause she sure knows everything about the business now.”
Something tell us Lady Gaga is going to take this new job VERY seriously. (with a Fairy Godmother costume and everything!)
