Could pop sensation Jessica Simpson possibly be the next judge to join Simon Cowell’s highly anticipated X Factor USA?
The singer and reality star recently revealed to Women’s Wear Daily that she has been approached to partake in Cowell’s new singing competition.
“They have definitely talked to me about ‘X Factor,'” Simpson said. “I think it would be a lot of fun. It’s definitely my life. To be a mentor for up-and-coming artists is right up my alley. I would have loved to have a mentor. I love watching people’s dreams come true.” (Source)
With all this star power hopping on the X Factor bandwagon, could this ultimately spell the end for television powerhouse American Idol? Maybe! We’ll just have to wait and see…
