Game is paying tribute to rapper Nate Dogg, who unexpectedly died earlier this week due to complications from prior strokes. The track, titled “All Doggs Go to Heaven” includes a sample of the late Dogg’s catch phrase “Hold Up!” from Dr. Dre‘s hit 2000 single “The Next Episode” and sheds light on the good times Game shared with Nate.
“I’m still thinkin bout Nate. aint stuntin no damn leprechauns right now,” Game tweeted yesterday. “I lost a friend. Been here before. Tears. Memories. One day someone will lose ‘US’ as well. LIVING until that day comes is our only option,” Game wrote on Twitter the day Nate Dogg died.
