In response to the devastating tsunami and earthquake that hit Japan on Friday (Mar. 11), Lady Gaga, arguably one of the biggest pop stars on the planet rightnow, has designed a “Japan Prayer Bracelet,” with all proceeds for the wristband going to relief efforts.
The “Born This Way” singer posted the announcement on her Twitter page this past Friday(March 11th) and provided a link to the item on the official store of her website.
The white wristband will sport the phrase “We Pray for Japan” written in both Japanese and English, as well as a pair of red hands making a clawing gesture. Each bracelet is priced at $5.00, but fans wishing to contribute more are allowed to donate up to $100 per wristband.
