Charlene Henderson, 24, repeatedly knifed boyfriend Gary Stewart after accusing him of cheating on her.
Amazingly, the pair then had sex on their blood-stained bed, Livingston Sheriff Court heard.
Prosecutor John Barclay said: “She admits it was a stupid thing to do and she could have killed him. She hadn’t taken her medication for depression.”
Henderson was collared after Gary went to hospital to have his minor stab wounds stitched the following morning. Henderson pleaded guilty to assaulting Gary – who is no longer her boyfriend – in Blackridge, West Lothian, last June. The court heard she has a conviction for chasing another ex with a knife.
Her defence agent Urfan Dar said Henderson was now living in Yorkshire and in a stable relationship after enduring a “volatile and violent” partnership with Gary. He added: “She’s shown remorse and knows she was wrong.”
Sheriff Donald Muirhead placed her on probation for two years and ordered she be put on an electronic tag curfew for six months.
Something is definitely wrong with this chick…and whoever had sex with her after being stabbed up. SMH!
