Lindsay Lohan says that she’s serious about her sobriety!
The troubled 24-year-old actress was spotted outside a nightclub last week, sparking rumors that she’s back to her old partying ways.
But that’s not the case according to Lohan, who took to her Twitter to banish rumors that she’s risking her freedom by partying and drinking against her court-mandated probation.
“I was just at roosevelt to meet Samantha and say happy birthday to a friend,” she tweeted on Friday (Feb 18). “i take my sobriety seriously. please dont believe this accusations. i know the rules and i wouldnt risk probation. xoxo L”
Lohan is set to appear in court this Wednesday (Feb 23) to face charges related to her ongoing felony grand theft case in which she allegedly stole a $2,500 necklace.
If convicted, the star faces a maximum 3-year prison sentence.
