Uh-oh, looks like somebody is in BIG trouble….

Rihanna‘s controversial new “S&M” video has been compared to previous work by famous celebrity photographer David LaChapelle. And now the photog is suing the singer for ripping him off!

In the lawsuit, which was filed this week, LaChapelle claims Rihanna and the video’s director Melina Matsoukas “copied” his “total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, décor, wardrobe and lighting” for the clip. LaChapelle, whose work has appeared in major publications like Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair, cites at least eight instances in which he believes the video blatantly rips off his work.

One of the eight instances mentioned is a sequence in the video that shows Rihanna wearing a pink latex hoodie and false eyelashes in front of a blue background holding a piece of candy on her tongue. Another instance mentioned in the lawsuit is a clip where Rihanna walks celebrity blogger Perez Hilton like a dog on a leash, which also mimics David LaChapelle’s previous work (see above).

Neither Rihanna nor Melina Matsoukas, who has also directed videos for big stars like Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga, could be reached for comment by press time.
