Young Jeezy‘s manager has come forward to dismiss reports that his client was arrested last weekend (Sat. Dec 11) in the Bahamas. The rapper’s manager Demetrius “Kinky B” Ellerbee tells MTV News:
“It’s not true.”
According to a local newspaper in the Bahamas, as Jeezy was on his way to a show in an area of the island called New Providence, he was arrested by officials.
A reason for his arrest wasn’t revealed, and the newspaper that reported the incident says Jeezy wasn’t held for very long and was still able to make his scheduled performance.
Police in the Bahamas still haven’t revealed any more details about the alleged arrest and have yet to offer any statement of their own explaining what really went down.
