Miley Cyrus took to the stage and performed “Forgiveness and Love,” a track from her third studio album Can’t Be Tamed, last night at the 2010 American Music Awards.
Miley is usually over the top when it comes to her stage performances, but the 17-year-old (who turns 18 tomorrow) kept it simple and clean for this particular one. According to recent reports, Miley was due to perform “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” with Bret Michaels. However, in light of the recent rumors that Bret broke up her parents’ marriage by having an affair with her mom, Miley played it safe and switched her song selection at the last minute.
