T.I. appeared in court earlier today (Fri. Oct 15) to answer to charges that he violated his probation last month when the rapper and his wife Tiny were arrested after cops found drugs in their car. And the judge has ordered that T.I. serve more time in prison!

A federal judge revoked T.I.’s probation today and sentenced the rapper to 11 months in prison!
T.I., who was on probation for federal weapons charges after recently serving 10 months behind bars, begged the judge not to send him back to jail, saying that he has a drug addiction and needs help. The Grammy Award winning rapper told the judge he “screwed up” as he pleaded for mercy.
A spokesman for the U.S. attorney’s office says that T.I. will voluntarily surrender, though the date for that is currently unknown.
It’s a sad day in the hip-hop world… 🙁
