Take that Sesame Street! According to various reports, singer Katy Perry will be guest starring on “The Simpsons.”
Katy will play the girlfriend of Moe the bartender in a special Christmas themed episode entitled “The Fight Before Christmas.” But that’s not the only surprise……
For that particular episode, all of the Simpsons characters will appear as puppets in live action. Executive producer Al Jean explains that the characters of Springfield want to show their all-out support for Katy in the midst of the Sesame Street banning.
“In the wake of Elmo’s terrible betrayal, ‘The Simpsons’ puppets wish to announce they stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Katy Perry.”
The episode will air December 5th. Can’t wait to see this!!
