Ellen DeGeneres‘ wife Portia de Rossi has officially changed her last name to “DeGeneres” and will now be known as Portia Lee James DeGeneres.
The former “Ally McBeal” and “Arrested Development” star was born Amanda Lee Rogers and the she changed her name to Portia de Rossi when she first became a model. Now, she’s switched things up once again after being granted permission to change her name in a Los Angeles court on Thursday (Sep 23).
Portia and Ellen legally got married in a 2008 ceremony back when gay marriage was legal in California.
