Lauryn Hill is slowly but surely making steps towards returning to the music scene in a big way, and she took one step further by taking the stage over the weekend (Sat. Aug 21) by performing during Day 1 of the 2010 Rock the Bells Festival at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California.
Backed by a 6-piece band, the uncontested “True Queen of Hip-Hop” ran through a set that classic included classic Lauryn Hill songs like “Lost Ones,” “Doo-Wop (That Thing),” and “Hurts So Bad” in addition to Fugees classics like “Ready or Not” and “Fugee La.”
Looks like Lauryn Hill really IS back!! Now all we have to do is patiently wait for an onslaught of new music 🙂 Peep the pics of LH performing Saturday afternoon at the 2010 Rock the Bells Festival in Cali below…
