Angelina Jolie is really racking up the film roles these days!
The actress’ new movie “Salt” hits theaters next week, she has filmed another movie, “The Tourist” alongside Johnny Depp, she’s involved with the Cleopatra biopic, and now, she is being rumored to play Maleficent in an upcoming Tim Burton film based on the “Sleeping Beauty” villain. Supposedly, Burton wants to work with Jolie on the film and she says ready to take him up on the offer, if true.
Peep what Angelina told MTV below:
“I would love to. It’s all new and being discussed, but I loved her when I was a little girl, she was my favorite. … And Tim [Burton]… the chance to work with him would just be extraordinary.”
We think this would actually be a good role for her. Helena Bonham Carter is usually cast in all Tim Burton films, but Jolie would be a much better fit for this particular role!
