Today is a big day for NBA basketball star Carmelo Anthony and his fiancee, TV personality Lala Vazquez. Anthony and Vazquez have been engaged since Christmas Day 2005, and are set to finally tie the knot tonight in New York City in front of their families and closest friends. The pair, who are mother and father to a 3-year-old son named Kiyan, have also been documenting the festivities and the planning that surrounded the wedding for an upcoming VH1 reality show to air in September.
Meanwhile, Lala’s BFF Kim Kardashian has been keeping her 4 million+ followers on Twitter abreast of the pre-wedding celebrations. Yesterday (Fri. Jul 9), the reality TV start tweeted pics of she and her friends, including singer Ciara, former reality TV star Brittny Gastineau, Fabolous, Trina, Kenyon Martin of the Denver Nuggets, and more as they joined Lala and Carmelo for a pre-wedding bash on a private yacht in the New York Harbor.
