Actress Lindsay Lohan was finally sentenced by Judge Revel to spend 90 days in the slammer yesterday (June 6th) for violating her probation…..and it appears that Mama and Papa Lohan aren’t too happy about it! In an interview with Pop Eater after the court hearing, Dina Lohan expressed her frustration over her daughter’s sentencing:
“This is so not fair to do this to my child.”
Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan also had a few words to say about the judge’s decision and even took to “Larry King Live” last night to give his take on what should have went down.
“Any kind of jail is harsh, especially for a young lady like Lindsay that doesn’t need jail. I’ve been there myself and I know jail didn’t do anything for me with my addictions. Lisa, Dr. Drew and myself have been telling everybody that this girl needs a rehab, she needs help. [Dr. Drew] wanted to help her, he offered to help her a long time ago. If Lindsay’s lawyer and Lindsay would have just listened to us, she would have been in a rehab, she would have been on a way to being clean and sober and have her life back. Instead, she got jail and rehab.”
Come on guys, we know you both (especially Michael) don’t mean it!
