Sunday night (Jun 27) at the 2010 BET Awards, R&B crooner Trey Songz dedicated his performance of “Yo Side of the Bed” to anyone who has ever lost someone they loved. The singer also incorporated a bit of Prince‘s “Purple Rain” into his performance, which came shortly after he was presented with his first BET Award: “Best Male R&B Artist.”
