Da Brat has finally been released from prison… sort of. The female rapper has managed to get a weekend pass (last week) and made a special appearance on Jermaine Dupri‘s “Living the Life” YouTube channel thanking everyone for their continued support. She also gave us a little insight on what she’s been doing over the past couple of years while she’s been behind bars and what she plans to do when she’s sprung later this year. Check out what she had to say below:
“I’m out on a little pass; I had to do some lawyer attorney stuff,” Da Brat explained. “Thank y’all for the love and support. I got a job. I work a nine-to-five, because I’m in the work release program. I make windows. If y’all need a window holla at your girl.”
Da Brat was sentenced to three years in prison back in 2008 after hitting a waitress over the head with a bottle at a nightclub owned by JD.
