Yes!! It’s coming! “Shutterbug,” the debut single from Big Boi from Outkast‘s highly anticipated debut solo project Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, due for a May 4th release. Antwan “Big Boi” Patton previewed a few songs from the new album to the media Monday, including “Shutterbug,” which talks about having fun and getting drunk in the club.
“Now party people in the club, it’s time to cut a rug / And throw your drinks in the sky just for the shutterbugs”
But what about the other half of Outkast, Andre 3000? According to MTV, Big Boi revealed that Mr. 3000 will be “featured prominently throughout the Sir Lucious Left Foot project.” And not only that, but after Andre 3000 releases his sophomore solo album, he and Big Boi plan to reunite for a brand new Outkast album, which will be their first since the release of Idlewild, released in 2006.
