Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame was released from the Houston County jail Thursday (Mar 18) following his arrest for violating his probation last week. Flocka (real name: Juaqin James Malphurs) was on probation for possessing a sawed off shot gun, and violated a court order by crossing state lines.

Previous reports suggested that Waka Flocka would remain in jail until the end of next month, which would have been the first opportunity he would get to see a judge. But we guess things have changed as Waka confirmed that he is out of prison via Baltimore’s 92Q radio station where briefly discussed his arrest and spoke on an upcoming appearance in B-more.

“I’ll be in Baltimore on Wednesday to turn that up for the masses,” Flocka told 92Q listeners. “I don’t know why these folks snatched me up. I was only in there for two and a half days.” Representatives from Houston County or Waka’s legal team have yet to comment on the matter.
