Dressed to impress, rapper Jay-Z and R&B singer/songwriter Alicia Keys performed their hit single “Empire State of Mind” Sunday night (Nov 22) at the 2009 American Music Awards, held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. And Lil Mama was nowhere to be found, either because she had two (not one but TWO) security guards posted up beside her … or she just didn’t show up to the show at all. Nothing much to say about this performance though. You’ve seen one ESOM performance, you’ve seen ’em all!
