50 Cent

Album push-backs are so common now-a-days! Rapper 50 Cent announced on his website that the release date for his upcoming fourth studio album, Before I Self Destruct, has been pushed back to the first week of November. He blames Eminem‘s album and the ever-changing music industry, among other things, for the constant set-backs.

“I had the time make it and remake it,” he said. “I didn’t have that [kind of time] on my other projects. I was limited, just because the system was in a state of confusion with things changing. The music business itself changed. It was periods of time I felt I was ready and it wasn’t a possibility for me to release the record at that point. Then the Eminem train came running down the track — I had to get out of the way to let Eminem’s record come out. Because he had been off for two years, it made sense for me to let him come out first. My new album, it should be out early November. The first week of November.

Mr. Jackson is also planning to transport locals in his old Southside Jamaica Queens neighborhood via 30 buses to Six Flags Great Adventures in New Jersey this Saturday for a concert.
