In the wake of Jay-Z announcing the “Death of Autotune” R&B singer Mariah Carey has released her new single “Obsessed,” which coincidentally is laced with auto tune itself! Penned by songwriting genius The Dream, this track, which premiered on Chicago’s B96 Tuesday (Jun 16) afternoon, will definitely be making its way to Billboard very soon where it will most likely reach #1. Her upcoming album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, isn’t set to drop until August 25th 2009, but for now, check out the album’s debut single “Obsessed” below!
