If Chris Brown had a personal Facebook, he’d change his relationship status from “It’s Complicated” to “Single” … because his very complicated relationship with aspiring model Karrueche Tran is now officially OVER! And apparently, it’s because of his “friendship with Rihanna.”
Chris released the following statement today:
“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
Chris’ announcement comes after he and Rihanna were spotted together at Jay-Z‘s concert at Brooklyn’s all-new Barclays center Wednesday night (Oct 3). And the two have spending a lot of time together in public recently, not to mention their “kiss” at this year’s MTV VMAs.
Following he and Rihanna’s concert date, Chris tweeted, “Both r Free from it all!” which initially drew a lot of confusion from his followers, but we’re pretty sure they know what that means now.
According to Hollywood Life, poor Karrueche is understandably pretty pissed with Chris right now, and has flown back to L.A. so that she can pack up her stuff, and move out of his place.
Last night, Karrueche posted the following cryptic tweeted hinting at a break-up:
