Since parting ways with Matthew Knowles in 2009, things seem to be looking up for R&B singer Kelly Rowland!

The “Motivation” singer has just landed herself a gig as the face of the new Sean John fragrance “Empress.”

“Yeah, I’m the new ambassador for ‘Empress;’ I just love what ‘Empress’ represents. It’s just women that are beautiful and powerful in their own right,” Kelly told Access Hollywood.

And from the sounds of it, the fragrance is set to smell really good. According to our buddies over at Vibe.com, the scent is made of a crisp, fruity floral with notes of Key Lime accord, mandarin, starfruit, raspberries, passion flower, peony, cardamom, ambrette seeds, vanilla, sandalwood, crystallized caramel and second skin accord.

Empress, priced at $50-$74, is set to hit shelves nationwide in August and will be available to purchase at Macy’s.
