Rihanna has responded to the Parents Television Council and the many critics of her new music video “Man Down”, in which the R&B singer kills a man at the beginning.
RiRi took to her Twitter account and said the following:
Below is the statement the Parents Television Council released:
“Instead of telling victims they should seek help, Rihanna released a music video that gives retaliation in the form of premeditated murder the imprimatur of acceptability.”
We think they’re making this whole thing into a way bigger deal than it has to be…..no one attacks movie stars for displaying actions of violence.
